Clinicians
Dr. Lisa Davidson was born in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She graduated from the UCHSC-Rose Family Medicine Residency and has
been practicing in Denver since 1997. She enjoys all aspects of Family
Medicine, and has a special interest in women’s health, as well
as weight management. Her philosophy of practice focuses on health
education and disease prevention. Dr. Davidson feels it’s important
that patients feel like part of the team when making health care decisions.
She identifies her ability to stay on time during the day as a valuable
asset to her busy patients. Dr. Davidson has participated in peer
reviews of physicians across the country to insure they maintain a
high standard of medical care. On a personal note, Lisa is married
and has two young children that keep her on her toes.
Dr. Mary Catherine Husney grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, but
made Colorado her much-loved home in 1992. After obtaining her Master's
Degree in Public Health at the University of Colorado, she attended
Albany Medical College in upstate New York before returning to Denver
for her Family Medicine Residency at St. Anthony's. Becoming a family
physician has allowed her to do what she loves: provide quality, compassionate
care to patients and families. She feels that health encompasses the
physical, emotional, and mental self, and that prevention and education
are important in achieving wellness. Her goal is to be a partner in
her patients search for good health, empowering them to navigate through
today’s complex medical world. MC lives here in Lowry with her
husband and two young children. They love spending time in the Colorado
sun (with sunscreen, of course!)
Melissa Jones, OTR, MSW, PA-C was born in Leavenworth, Kansas.
She attended the University of Kansas where she received her B.S.
in Occupational Therapy. She relocated to Pueblo, CO, and worked as
an OT at the Colorado State Hospital. While there, she attended the
University of Denver and received a Masters in Social Work. After
moving to Denver, she worked with adolescents, adults and the geriatric
population at various psychiatric facilities. She then graduated from
the UCHSC Physician Assistant program. She has been working in Family
Medicine since 1996 and also serves as an expert witness in medical
malpractice cases. She is married and loves to travel.
